REMEMBER that all cage birds cannot thrive in good health on dry seeds alone. By observing the birds in their wild habitat, their diet consists of many nutrients other than dry seed.
Cage birds eat seeds in the milky stage, which are seeds that have fallen on the ground and partially sprouted by moisture, plus vegetation. A variety of fruits and insects gather all they need in vitamins and minerals to remain in good health and reproduce themselves successfully.
